How To Get There

Get to Crail as described in previous pages, and look for a turn-off in the town beside the Golf Hotel. You're leaving the main road here and heading towards Fife Ness which is on the signpost along with Roome Bay at this junction.

As you head along this road, there is a turn-off to your right about 400 yards along, right after a big dip in the road. It's well marked Roome Bay so you won't miss it.Follow down this road about a hunderd yards, and you'll see the sea on your right. there is usually ample street parking along here. Your mark is on the left of the bay in front of you.

These rocks are worth fishing in the summer, but should be avoided in the winter. The tide has to be kept an eye on here too,and only experienced rock anglers should probably attempt this mark. The ground is mixed and you can expect cod, wrasse and coley but being summer fish they probably won't exceed 3lbs or so.
