Wire Booms

This is a way I use to knock up some booms for float fishing.It lets me fish two or 3 baits without the snoods tangling up.
 
All you need is some copper electrical wire such as we got when we stripped the cable for the tubing,and a drill.
 
Select a piece of wire around 24 inches long,flod it in half and twist it up to about 8 inches from the open ends using a hook in a battery drill.
 
You should now have something like in this picture.
 
Fold the ends again as shown and using the same method,spin the wire together.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Snip off any tag ends and you should have a wire boom as shown here.They are useful when fishing floats over heavy weed as they keep your baits apart,and if you snag the up and lose them,no matter,they're free anyway.
