Rod Rest

Although the rod rest has always been fully functional,I felt that the head was always a bit bulky and so decided to make some alterations which would make it lighter for one,and smaller for another.

By using a part of a telescopic leg from a laser level, and a few bits and pieces, the head is now made of very light aluminium instead of wood, and can vary in widths to both compliment fishing and aid in carraige, and screws on and off the top of the leg in seconds.

The rest can be used either in the short position in the top photo,or by flicking the black switch and sliding through the black securing knob,in the wide position in the bottom photo.
