What I'm About
Most anglers will be well aware that probably the most important thing that you need when you're fishing,is
a bit of knowledge about the area.
You can have the best rod you can buy,the best reel in all the magazines,the freshest of bait,and the best
of tackle.But,if you plonk yourself down where no fish has swum since Moses was at nursery,you just won't catch any fish.
The point of this website is simply to give you an idea of where some of the best places to fish in the
East Neuk of Fife are.I will point you in the right direction of maybe a dozen or more spots,tell you how to get there,what
species you're likely to catch there,and what kind of conditions to expect.
Why should you trust me?
Well I've lived in this area all of my life,and I've fished since I was about 5 in one form or another,(which
is about 40 years).I also know quite a few other people from this area who have done likewise,( and in amongst them I know
who tells the truth about their fishing and who,shall we say,'stretches the truth')so between us I reckon we can help you
out a bit if you come to this area to fish.
